The Power of Gospel ministries Benevolence Program was established based on the word of God, through faith in Jesus Christ our Lord. Our purpose is to meet essential humanitarian and emergency needs in the United States and in India with compassion and love of Christ either directly or in partnership with other organization with like faith, so to do the desire and will of our Lord Jesus Christ.

By the mercies and grace of God, this ministry was able to perform the following activities to fulfill the purpose of God in Christ. Each of the activities were planned and executed to meet urgent basic needs of our fellow men and bring glory and honor to God our Father.


Food and clothing for the Homeless

To share the glad tidings that God proclaimed 2000 years ago during the birth of Christ. As the Bible says in Luke 2:14 “ Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!”

Dec 15, 2006 Partnered with Inn Vission, Montgomerry Street Inn, feeding 100+ homeless people and distributed 80+ flannel shirts during Christmas time.

Support for Widows


The heart of the Heavenly Father, God Almighty, goes for the Fatherless and Widows... Bible says in Psalm 68:5 A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in his holy dwelling.

June 10, 2006 Partnered with Tirunelveli diocese to provide financial support for 8 widows, they were given equipment such as sewing machines, grinders, milking cows or goats to make a living on their own.

Partnered with Sharon of Roses Children Orphanage in Palayamkottai, India. Provided financial support to buy 2 sets of dresses for 60 children in the orphanage during Christmas time.

Partnered with Good news India Ministries, Provided financial support for Hepatitis 'B" vaccination and a 2-day free clinic for 185 children in Orphanage in Baligeria and Sirisboni of West Bengal/Orissa.

Katrina Relief at Louisiana

God want us to be a good neighbor, a good neighbor is the one who would care to pause for a moment when his neighbor is in trouble. God's love for man kind that was shown in the cross of Christ never fails, but in the compassion of God, moves to help a neighbor in need and especially at the day of trouble.

Oct. 1, 2005 When hurricane hit New Orleans, we joined hands with Pastor John Benjamin Peters with Faith Living Word Fellowship at Natchitoches, Louisiana to help them build showers and toilet facilities to setup a shelter that operated for few months to help evacuees from New Orleans. We provided financial help to rebuild the life of one family trying to reestablish after they had lost all they had in Katrina.

Tsunami Relief

God's love for man kind is infinite, clearly demonstrated by Jesus Christ, on cross that He would die to take away sin of the man kind, shedding His blood to forgive all our sins, so deeply God has shown His love to Humanity that was lost in sin and was destined for eternal death, having done that, Jesus Commanded to love one another as He has loved us. John 13:34-34, "A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.

When Tsunami waves of destruction hit South East Asian countries, we joined with ministries in India and Sri Lanka to extend a hand of support. By the grace of God, we have provided assistance for 12 families who lost all they had in the destruction. We provided a coconut fiber weaving machine and raw materials to a family who had lost their equipment and raw materials during the Tsunami. We provided financial assistance to replace and replenish a poultry farm for a widow who had lost her husband, three children and the family poultry farm. The stories are heart-breaking.  

Rehabilitation of drug victims in India

You may have heard about good Samaritan hospital, Jesus Christ, 2000 years ago, told a story, illustrating, how to be a good neighbor, that can be read in Bible, book of Luke 10:30-37. The purpose of this help is to a good neighbor for those who need help the most in sphere of our influence.

Year 2004

Partnered with the City Team Ministries, Bangalore India, BLC, to add 3 more beds helping them to extend their care. The facility is dedicated to help people to recover from drug and alcohol abuse, while giving them the hope, through the gospel of Christ that they may able live a good life and be valuable to the community.

Caring for people in shelter homes

Caring for God's people, based on their need, in a timely way, with God's love, and servant heart of Christ, makes a world of difference. This Shepherding read in Bible, Ezekiel 34:16, "I will search for the lost and bring back the strays. I will bind up the injured and strengthen the weak, but the sleek and the strong I will destroy. I will shepherd the flock with justice."

Partnered with City Team ministries, in Alum Rock, San Jose, spending the July 4th day with them, making Barbecue meal for them, sharing a meal with them, playing a Inspiring movie showing how LORD Jesus can transform their life, and spent time with them Praying for their needs.

Feeding the hungry

Feeding a fellow men whom also God has made, is one way to share our love, and that is the heart of Christ. Matthew 25:35

We joined with City Team Ministries, in San Jose, CA to feed 500 meals to the hungry and destitute during Christmas time.
